Brother Luke

It is with a heavy heart that I inform the Ministry this morning of the passing of our founder and dearly beloved friend. Brother Luke Edmondson laid down for a nap at home in McDonough, Georgia yesterday afternoon and was found lying peacefully with hands folded as he went to be with our Lord Jesus.

Chaplain Gregory Brooks, Executive Administrator for Emerge Chaplain Response Team is a long time member of Team Jesus Ministries Inc. who used his skill to begin working with Emerge as a Chaplain and Administrator and has moved up quickly in that organization. Reverend Lucious H. Edmondson

Recognized for a Life Time of Service at Georgia State Capital

Rev. Lucious H. Edmondson, Founder of Team Jesus Ministries was officially recognized by the Georgia State House of Representatives for his life time of service on March 27, 2026 at the Georgia State Capital. Rev. Edmondson started Team Jesus as a Christian Motor Cross Racing Team which grew into the multiplicity of ministries it is today, reaching from Georgia to California. Rev. Edmondson spent more than five decades as the Henry County Jail Chaplain while establishing a nationwide ministry aiding ministers and ministries in their callings to spread the Gospel of Jesus the Christ. He Licensed, Ordained and Trained hundreds of Ministers, Pastors, and Jail/Prison chaplains. His life long commitment to faith, service and passion profoundly touched the lives of countless men and women in ministry. He leaves a legacy of ministry, mentorship, and spiritual leadership that endured for generations.

He was further recognized for his service to his country as a United States Marine serving on active and reserve duty.
